The quarterly Community Justice Forums are one of twelve initiatives underway pursuant to the CJCC’s FY 21- FY 23 strategic plan. Each forum will focus on a different area of the system featuring CJCC members and community representatives with subject matter expertise as well as participant questions and answers.

The CJCC worked to raise awareness in the Charleston community and better understand community priorities to improve our local justice system. During 2019, we gathered community feedback from over 1,200 voices. This feedback was used to develop the CJCC’s 2020 strategic plan in conjunction with data findings to-date.
